Fermeture de la parenthèse "En français ou en anglais, le blog".
J'y ai songé toute la journée, j'ai fait lecture des commentaires suite à ma précédente intervention... et j'en arrive au résultat suivant: j'écrirai en françâ, c'est toute!
Et puis le but premier de ce blog était justement de me garder le français réchauffé à défaut de ne pouvoir l'utiliser tout les jours. Alors dans tes dents torontois chéris!
Et qui sait, je ne suis pas le seul québécois expatrié dans le GTA (Great Toronto Area pour les novices). Alors veut veut pas, si il y en a au moins un (un torontois j'entend) qui me lis en français, mon travail ici bas sera accompli - Alleluyia. (ça s'écrit de même me semble...)
En terminant, laissez-moi partager ma déception par rapport à National Geographic (coq à l'âne tu dis?!?!). Denis à reçus "Book of People of the World" pour sa fête. J'y ai jeter un oeil ce soir. S'est supposé être une bible de CHAQUE culture présente au monde, sur la planète contemporaine au grand complet! Alors moi je voulais voir ce qui se disait sur nous, québécois (ou au pire, french canadian)..................... BEN IL SE DIT RIEN! Rien même sur les canadiens tout court... MAIS ils parlent des AMISH (What the F....).
Bref, National Geographic baisse en chute libre dans mon estime.
Voilà!

We will continue to read your blog en Français. I believe many Ontarians wish to speak better French, but as you've noted, we are adrift in a sea of English. We hope you won't mind if our comments are in English. Even though we live in a Victorian house we have dreams of a different house with clean lines and contemporary materials. We love a modern aesthetic and enjoy different perspectives on design. So, vive la difference, eh?
